aving been born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, Dr. Derrick Sakata and his wife were very happy to return to the west coast after 9 years in New York and Massachusetts.  Dr. Sakata received a degree in biology from Vassar College in New York.  During his time at Vassar while doing an internship at a family practice in the Hudson Valley, Derrick realized that he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry.  He received his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.  Dr. Sakata is very passionate about providing the best care to his patients and loves discussing treatment options with them.  His patients appreciate his sense of humor, gentle nature, and calming, soothing manner.  Dr. Sakata enjoys many outdoor activities.
